A little about our Founder….

Running has not always been Victoria’s passion. In fact, running came to her on a bold whim with her best friend by spontaneously signing up for a half marathon. By the time Victoria signed up for her half marathon for the Kentucky Derby Festival in 2018, Victoria had never run one consecutive mile- but she knew she needed a physical challenge and an outlet to keep her mind at ease and her body healthy. From this first half marathon she steadily gained confidence and an interest in the sport of distance running with several ups and downs the first few years dealing with injuries and burn out and less than ideal success. As the years passed and she asked herself more and more “how can I succeed with running?” did she really dive into the science of running and strength training as well as utilizing her knowledge as a physical therapist to really help herself excel.
Now 5 years into her running career, Victoria has developed a passion for the mechanics, the science, and the joy behind running of all distances that she now strives to share with all of you. With her years of experience and knowledge as a physical therapy, Victoria has created Vagabond Running Physio & Fitness to create a one stop shop to provide anyone interested in pursuing their strength training and running journey wholeheartedly. By providing running and strength training programs as well as individualized physical therapy treatment, she is here to help you to keep pushing and to never settle, working to achieve the goals that you once told yourself you could never do.
